Armstrong Precision Components Ltd have manufactured the Wire Thread
Insert System, now marketed as Armacoil, for more than 50 years. With
a wealth of knowledge and experience gathered during this period the customer
profile includes many major blue chip organisations involved in the aerospace,
automotive, defence, communications, power generation and gas turbine
industries.
Employing 60 personnel in a modern facility covering 35,000 square feet,
machining operations include multi spindle, CNC, coiling and wire rolling,
producing in excess of 30 million parts per annum. Dedicated technical
and production departments offering design assistance and the ability
to manufacture product to standard and bespoke applications, support the
internal and external sales team.
With most products operating in critical applications, quality is key
to ensuring customer confidence and reliability. Currently accredited
to BS EN 9100:2003, AS9100, Rev B & BS EN ISO 9001:2000, the company is
committed to providing products and services to ever increasing client
expectations. Equally important is the company's responsibility to Health
and Safety and the environment which is demonstrated by the company's
ISO14001:2004 & OHSAS18001:1999 BSI approved integrated management system.
